Berarti:

When? Sebelum kejadian yang lain di masa depan.

Jadi past perfect progressive adalah tenses untuk kejadian yang sudah dimulai sebelum sekarang dan sedang berlangsung sebelum kejadian lain berlangsung di masa depan.

2.      How long? For two hours.

Berarti:

How long? Untuk dua jam

Jadi kata “how long” lebih tepat untuk menyatakan durasi waktu.

1.      Tom’s eating will completely finished before another time in the future

Berarti:

Makannya tom akan komplit (selesai) sebelum di waktu lain di masa lalu

Jadi Future Perfect adalah sebuah tenses untuk kejadian yang pertama selesai sebelum kejadian yang lain di masa depan.

1.      Tom’s eating was completely finished before another time in the past.

Berarti:

Makannya tom komplit (selesai) sebelum di waktu lain di masa lalu

Jadi past perfect adalah sebuah tenses untuk kejadian yang pertama selesai sebelum kejadian yang lain terjadi di masal lalu.

Berarti:

Waktu tepatnya tidak penting

Jadi kalimat present perfect ini tidak memerlukan keterangan waktu tentang kapan kejadian ini telah selesai.

Tom will go to sleep at 10:00 tomorrow night. We will arrive at 11:00.

“Tom akan tidur jam 10 besok malam. Kita akan sampai jam11.”

1.      The action of sleeping will begin before we arrive, and it will be in progress at particular time in the future.

Berarti:

Kejadian tidurnya akan mulai sebelum kita tiba, dan ini akan sedang terjadi di waktu tertentu di masa depan.

Jadi sebuah kejadian yang terjadi pertama sebelum kejadian yang lain terjadi, karena kejadiannya baru akan mulai sebelum kejadian lain terjadi.

2.      Probably his sleep will continue.

Berarti:

Kemungkinan tidurnya akan berlanjut.

“Tom tidur jam 10:00 kemarin malam. Saya tiba jam 11:00. Dia masih tertidur.”

1.      His sleep began before and was in progress at a particular time in the past.

Examples: I was watching television at10 pm last night

                   You were studying English at 09 pm

Berarti:

Tidurnya mulai sebelumnya dan sedang terjadi di waktu tertentu masa lalu.

Contohnya: Saya sedang menonton tv jam 10 malam kemarin

                     Kamu sedang belajar bahasa inggris jam 09

Jadi kalamat ini menjelaskan sebuah kejadian yang sedang terjadi d waktu tertentu di masa lalu

2.      It continued after I arrived.

Berarti:

Kejadian berlanjut setelah saya tiba.

Jadi sebuah kejadian yang sedang berlanjut setelah sebuah kejadian lain terjadi.

1.      His sleep began in the past, it is in progress at the present time, and probably will continue.

Berarti:

Tidurnya mulai di masa lalu, dalam proses di masa sekarang, dan kemungkinan akan berlanjut.

Berarti: Di waktu khusus di masa depan, ini akan terjadi

Berarti:

Di waktu khusus di masa lalu, ini terjadi.

      Contohnya: Saya pergi ke pesta kemarin

                         Saya makan pizza kemarin minggu

2.      Activities began and ended in the past.

Berarti:

Kejadian-kejadian mulai dan berakhir di masa lalu.

Pada kalimat ini berarti sebuah kejadian yang terjadi di masa lalu da tidak ada hubunganya di masa sekarang in present.

1.      In general, the simple present expresses events or situation that exsit  always,usually,habitually.

Examples: I always have breakfast a day

                   I usually go to beach in holiday

Berarti:

Pada umumnya simple present mengungkapkan kejadian atau situasi yang terdapat (always,usually,habitually).

        Contohnya: Saya selalu sarapan sekali

                              Saya biasanya pergi ke pantai setiap liburan.

Jika dalam suatu kalimat terdapat kata (always,usually,habitually) , maka kalimat tersebut adalah kalimat simple present.

2.      They exist now, have existed in the past, and probably will existed in the future.

Berarti:

Mereka ada (dilakukan) sekarang, telah ada (dilakukan) di masa lalu, dan kemungkinan ada (dilakukan) di masa depan.

Kalimat dalam pernyatann tersebut menjelaskan bahwa sebuah perbuatan kebiasaan habitual activity adalah sebuah kebiasaan yang kita lakukan baik itu dulu, sekarang, dan di masa depan.
